What's new in Meanie Land
GET THE KINKS OUT AT B.B. KING BLUES CLUBOn Aug. 1, The Blue Meanies will return to B.B. King Blues Club in New York City for a night of Kinks klassics. Our 45-minute acoustic Kinks set will prime the masses for a live performance of The Kinks' classic MUSWELL HILLBILLIES album by a 10-piece Kinks Kollective called Muswell Hillbillies Live. MEANIES HEADING TO DC AREA FOR AROTR 2010
On Labor Day Weekend, National Harbor, Md., will host its first Abbey Road on the River festival, and The Blue Meanies will be there in all their brown-haired glory, performing each day at the event. ACOUSTIC MONKEES TRIBUTE SHOW ON YOUTUBE
On Jan. 31, The Blue Meanies performed a 50-song acoustic tribute to The Monkees at B.B. King Blues Club in New York City. The show was filmed, and you can see videos of several songs here. New Blue Meanies videos are being posted all the time (including performances from our May 2 British Invasion show at B.B. King Blues Club), so stay tuned!
