JUNE 2: 'SGT. PEPPER' 50TH ANNIVERSARY

The annual Beatles Blast returns to the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, New York, to celebrate 50th anniversary of the Beatles' 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.' The Blue Meanies will perform the album in its entirety with the Richmond County Orchestra. (We'll be playing a lot more than just 'Sgt. Pepper,' BTW.)

DETAILS: 8 p.m. (doors 7 p.m.), St. George Theatre, 35 Hyatt St., Staten Island, New York
TICKETS: Tickets are available as of March 3. Head here for more information!

MAY 21: BAYFEST 2017

The Blue Meanies are among the bands to perform at this year's Bayfest (an outdoor festival with a nice view of the water) in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn! Stay tuned for more details.

DETAILS: Outdoors on Emmons Avenue, Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn (more info coming soon)

MAY 26-29: ABBEY ROAD ON THE RIVER

Once again, the T-shirt-clad "travel" version of the Blue Meanies will make the rigorous journey to Abbey Road on the River. For the first time ever, the fest will take place in Jeffersonville, Indiana, which was an important tactical hub for the Union during the Civil War. Stay tuned for set times and more!

DETAILS: Jeffersonville, Indiana

JULY 29: DESERT ROSE

Come join the Blue Meanies as we celebrate the 429th anniversary of England's glorious victory over the Spanish Armada in the Battle of Gravelines! Seriously, though, the Desert Rose has an amazing menu, a great stage for the band and tons of space for dancing and dining.

DETAILS: Time TBA; 4459 Amboy Road, Staten Island, New York

JULY 15: SPURGE FEST

Yes, the T-shirt-clad Blue Meanies will—once again—provide the entertainment for a lovely annual event (another private party) called Spurge Fest! They will probably perform Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" for the first time since the last Spurge Fest, so they might want to brush up on it. The first guitar solo doesn't go to B minor; it stays in D. The second/main guitar solo starts in B minor.

DETAILS: Private party.

APRIL 1: PRIVATE PARTY

We'll be busting out of our winter-hibernation pods and celebrating the arrival of spring at this private party in Staten Island. Since it's a private event (and not a regular gig), please think about something else, like the Battle of Pea Ridge (1862).
